Domestic Violence in Ancient Rome | Richard Bauman Reading Group Roman Law Network

The Australasian Roman Law Network will meet on Wednesday 15th December at 5pm for a workshop on Domestic Violence in Ancient Rome.

We are excited to announce that the following speakers will be presenting short “think-pieces” to aid discussion:

  • Professor Rebecca Langlands (University of Exeter)

  • Kirsten Parkin (Cambridge University)

The workshop will be accompanied by a meeting of the Richard Bauman Reading Group from 6pm (details will be sent to participants). The Reading Group will be reading the introduction to Donavin, Georgiana.; Salisbury, Eve.; Price, Merrall Llewely edd. 2002. Domestic Violence in Medieval Texts.
